At Aero Manufacturing we use a VZ1 – a five-axis cutting machine from Mitsubishi – to fit a wide range of complex laser applications. This three-dimensional laser cutting system provides ultimate accuracy and flexibility. With a processing envelope measuring 10 feet in the X-axis, 7 feet in the Y-axis, and 3 feet in the Z-axis. The machine also has a W-Axis range of +/- 360 degrees and a U-axis range of +/- 180 degrees. This wide range of motion combined with Mitsubishi’s superior resonator technology helps to decrease time and manpower while maintaining the utmost accuracy.
Finally, using close-nesting, our laser cutting process ensures the highest material utilization possible, which means reducing waste and saving money.
